Fall 2020 Interns

I am tremendously excited to introduce you to my incredible, high school senior INTERNS for this school year:
  • Margo James will study either Performing Arts or Communications/English in college.
  • Jarred Moffitt will study Quantum Physics.
  • Ros-Oriel will study Science.

All three are brilliant……and they love music!

And The Winner Is…

Me!

As you may know, musicians are among professionals whose work has been gravely impacted by the Coronavirus quarantine. Some of you helped by buying my album art posters (thanks again!), and I spent lots of time writing grants for support….and was awarded! Thank the heavens!

Big hugs and kisses to United States Artists, the National Endowment for the Arts, DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities and DC Department of Small & Local Business Development. You are incredible!

Black Lives Music

Continuous – Remix feat. Jaymo & Lini appears on my album, Love. It is an R&B song where singer Jaymo Clark and rapper Lini add the verses about love. Their words still resonate, now, in light of the Black Lives Matter movement and my push for economic equality.

This inspired a video that begins bright, ends dark and navigates warrantless inequality, that is partly captured through personal and professional photos of black men.

Women Make Film | A TCM Event
